BIAJS 2026 Bulletin

The BIAJS Bulletin 2026 is now available to view and download.

Thank you!

Thanks to all the individual contributors who have given their time and information, their lists of news, postgraduate students, publications, and more, for the bulletin and for the flourishing of Jewish studies research and teaching. It is a truly valuable source and archive of news, a regular snapshot of the state and condition of Jewish studies in the UK and Ireland, which we would not otherwise be able to see as a holistic picture from year to year.

Thank you to the editorial team, Drs Sami Everett and Anoushka Alexander-Rose, for their extremely hard work pulling this bulletin together, over what has been yet another truly extraordinarily difficult year for many in Jewish studies, academia, and Jewish communities globally.

Share the bulletin!

We ask readers to share the BIAJS Bulletin with their colleagues, students, communities, and others who would appreciate it. Autumn is a good time of year to become a new BIAJS member or renew your membership, with annual prizes and the Leeds conference only just around the corner.

Contribute!

Read the BIAJS bulletin for news of Jewish studies activity, BIAJS activities, prize news, conference information, and more. If you have news from your institution, photos of a class field trip or scholarship, a special exhibition, community engagement events, and other Jewish studies-related enterprises, we definitely want to hear about it for next year’s Bulletin for Autumn 2027. Look out for the calls for information for the bulletin around springtime from Dr Sami Everett.

If you have an upcoming event, or a request/call for information, that is more immediate and would like to advertise it widely then, as always, please reach out to us to do a news blast on this mailing list and on social media.

With thanks, on behalf of your BIAJS Committee,

Lindsey Davidson

BIAJS Secretary
