AGM Announcement 2026
We are delighted to announce the date and time of the BIAJS Annual General Meeting (AGM) for this year, which will take place during the BIAJS Annual Conference at Birkbeck, University of London, under the presidency of Dr Ben Gidley:
Date: Tuesday 14 July 2026
Time: 17:00 (BST)
Location: hybrid (in person: conference venue at Birkbeck, University of London (exact location TBC for security; please consult the conference programme which will be shared with registered attendees only); online: secure Zoom link.
Attendance: only BIAJS ordinary members will be permitted to attend the AGM online or in person; the AGM is not open to the general public.
Agenda and past minutes: The agenda, past minutes and related materials will be circulated at the AGM venue; any ordinary members participating only on Zoom will be given links to files. Past AGM minutes can be viewed on the biajs website here.
New motions: If you are a member of BIAJS who would like to propose a motion for consideration at the AGM, you can email Lindsey Davidson (Secretary) and cc at least two other members of the BIAJS committee, in advance of the AGM. Alternatively, new motions can also be proposed and recognised during the “Any other business” item in the AGM itself. If motions include any written materials or report we would prefer receiving them by email in advance for the sake of online participants who are not in the room.
