Hi everyone,
My name is Kerry and I’m on the BIAJS committee as the current PhD studentship holder. I am looking to organise an in-person event for PhD and ECR members of BIAJS this year and am reaching out to see who would be interested in taking part. My current idea is to hold a one-day workshop where PhD and ECRs can present their research to one another in a relaxed friendly environment. I’d also be keen to put together a collection of written papers of some of these presentations as a record of the workshop. This would also encourage people to write about their research without the pressure of an academic article, or help those who have not yet attended any conferences or published any articles to start thinking about doing so.
