The Department of Religion and Theology at the University of Bristol is seeking maternity leave cover for the Department’s Lecturer in Jewish Studies.  This is a fixed term 1FTE role starting on 1 Aug 2024 through to 31 May 2025 (or the earlier return of the post-holder).

Teaching will be (see further particulars for more details and other duties):

• Year 1: Introduction to Judaism, Christianity and Islam (Judaism); Approaches to the Study of Religion/Issues in the Study of Religion; Topics in Religion and Theology.
• Year 2: Greco-Roman Judaism
• Year 3/PGT: Dead Sea Scrolls
