Research Fellow (Post-Doctorate Researcher – Arabic Poetry in the Cairo Genizah: Social History)

The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies and the Department of Near and Middle Eastern Studies at Trinity College Dublin is seeking to recruit a Research Fellow/Post-Doctorate Researcher – Arabic Poetry in the Cairo Genizah: Social History.

Post Status: Specific Purpose Contract (expected duration approximately 36 months), Full-time.

Department / School: Department of Near Middle Eastern Studies, School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin.

Location: Main Campus, Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, College Green, Dublin 2, Ireland

Reports to: Principal Investigator

Salary: Appointment will be made on the Post-Doctorate Researcher salary scale (€38,632 – 41,025) at a point in line with Government Pay Policy appointment will be made no higher than point 1.

Hours of Work: Full time – 37.5hrs per week
