Call for Papers: KCL/UCL Hebrew Bible Day Conference, ‘Foreign Nations in the Prophets’, Thursday 7th May 2020

As previously announced, King’s College London and University College London have established an annual joint Hebrew Bible Day Conference. The first day conference, focusing on ‘Foreign Nations in the Prophets’, will take place at King’s on Thursday 7th May 2020, with Professor Hugh Williamson as key-note speaker and an open call for papers.

We now invite proposals of papers on the theme of ‘Foreign Nations in the Prophets’. Proposers should submit a title and a short abstract (200 words max.). The plan is to allocate 20 minutes to selected papers, followed by 10 minutes for discussion.

Proposals should be sent to Jonathan Stökl at  jonathan.stokl@kcl.ac.uk by the closing date of 29th February 2020. Please include the words ‘Foreign Nations in the Prophets’ in the title of your email.
