Canterbury Christ Church University offers Jewish studies components through courses offered by the School of Humanities in the fields of History, Theology and Religious Studies. Researchers at the university offer supervision across a broad range of topics, including, but not limited to, Jewish-Christian Relations, modern Jewish history and culture, contemporary Jewish religion and identity, Holocaust Theology, and the Dead Sea Scrolls.

This institution, bringing together scholars from across the School of Humanities, offers a number of modules ranging from antiquity to the modern era at undergraduate level, and supervision opportunities for those progressing to postgraduate study. The modules provide the opportunity to examine the variety of themes prevalent to the Jewish people throughout history. The teaching facilitates the study of Jewish history, culture and religion, from antiquity to the present day, from life under Greek and Roman rule to Jewish life in Russia from the Pale of Settlement to the Soviet Era, as well as Eastern Europe and America.
